thankful thursday

We've been out of town, so it's been a few weeks since I've posted.  Time away can be refreshing and inspirational, and I'm trying to hold onto some of the inspiration I felt I had found during our time in England.  Among other things, I would like to re-invigorate both this blog and my Uncle Sam's Attic historical blog.  We'll see how that goes.  Meanwhile, this week I am thankful for:

* fresh berries
* fresh vegetables
* two wonderful weeks in England
* safe travel
* the kid's patience and good traveling skills -- she was a wonder
* fun conversations
* history
* playtime with a friend for the kiddo -- she needs some kid time!
* 4-H
* kind people
* chocolate chip cookies from a friend :-)
