thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* the hummingbirds that have started coming to the little window-mounted feeder I hung on my home office window!  It's rush hour out there all of a sudden -- love watching their little tongues flick in and out.
* friends
* the kid's enthusiasm for using my classroom white boards to draw and write poetry during student work sessions
* my students
* Advil
* central heating
* glitter
* the crock pot
* icicles
