thankful (friday)

I had every intention of re-starting this blog post-move with a Thankful Thursday post yesterday, and then our home Internet went down.  Hmm.  We're back up and running now, so in the spirit of better late than never, this week I am thankful for...

* a smooth moving process
* the wonderful people who helped us (and continue to help us) before, during, and after!
* an offer on the Newberg house... whew.
* our new neighborhood
* the kid's great new school
* 9 delightful years with our beautiful girl
* the fact that she was as tickled about having a Sputnik satellite birthday cake as I was about finding the idea
* settling in
* established plants
* the squirrels in our yard
* Stanley's growing comfort in his new environment
* Stanley's blessed decision to be a good boy about using his new litter box...
* nice new neighbors
* the antics of No-no the neighbor cat
