thankful thursday

It's time for my weekly exercise in thankfulness, an undertaking which I do find readjusts my perspective. I recommend it!

This week I am thankful for:

* the amusement value of looking over the fence daily and noting that yup, the next-door neighbors (parents of 5) continue to be storing their noisy "popper" toy on the roof, where it was clearly flung in a fit of exasperation some weeks back...
* the opportunity to share my writing

* 3-hour parking meters
* blue sky
* visionaries
* the warm quality of sunlight in the fall
* the first turning leaves
* warm cooked apples
