thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* a happy start to the school year for the newly minted first-grader

* the joy of a day spent in service, helping out a local church and getting to know some wonderful college students

* the opportunity to work for a university that has a "Serve Day"

* messages of hope and inspiration

* good friends

* a new coffee mug

* moments of belonging
