This week I am thankful for:

* one completed syllabus and a second that should be done by this afternoon (fingers crossed)
* a week of time to catch up before the spring semester begins
* moments of clarity
* good, important talks
* Jem 100
* Jac's Deli (and its "Roscoe" sandwich special)
* my voracious little reader
* a really good Latin American history textbook
* the goldfinches I saw the other day
