thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* a lovely birthday yesterday

* 34 years of existence

* a wonderful family

* a great friend who made me cupcakes to share with my Latin American history students!

* meeting another great friend for a birthday run

* decorations, especially when made by not-quite-7-year-olds

* my new bird bath (final location of both bath and cyclamen currently residing inside bath TBD)

* continuing bursts of clarity

* advice from others

* well-wishes from friends on FB

* the Maisie Dobbs series by Jacqueline Winspear

* BLTA sandwiches

* cake

* a winning bid on 5 azalea plants (and another on 4 hours of babysitting!) at the church playground fundraiser last weekend

* a clean(er) desk
