thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* lunch with my mom, grandmother and kiddo
* my dad (happy birthday, Dad!)
* the 7-year-old's enthusiasm for Halloween decorations
* a great college student babysitter who spent the better part of an hour searching campus for pumpkins hidden in trees with my delighted offspring (why pumpkins in trees? because it's a college campus... I do love college... this may be why I've never exactly left)
* good friends (and their soup)
* chocolate chip cookies
* the Southwest Chipotle Chicken Wrap at Coffee Cottage -- and good company, too
* resolutions
* fun things to look forward to this weekend
