thankful... friday

Oops!  I got caught up in other things yesterday and didn't remember to post.  This week I am thankful for:

* collegiality
* good students
* crocuses and other emerging spring bulbs
* buds on the trees
* the front yard Daphne bush is in bloom and smells great!
* hearing a dog bark in a menacing fashion on my run, only to discover it was an attack... corgi.
* the kid's pride in using the sewing machine to sew a beanbag at 4-H
* a good babysitter
* the kid's opportunity to have her high school pianist heroine as a substitute teacher when the usual (and also very good) teacher got caught up in traffic
