thankful thursday

Just a few of the things I am thankful for this week:

* a new DSL modem!
* a husband who set up said modem so I didn't have to talk to the technical support people
* backyard soccer and tennis with the kiddo
* the Little House on the Prairie series
* positive reviews
* exciting progress on my co-edited book project
* Joyful Servant youth
* pretty fall leaves
* winter squash
* women's group
* the persuasive power of a Skittle in getting the kid to take mint-flavored Maalox (she hates mint)
* my dad and his wall-hole mending skills :-)
