This week I am thankful for:

* a good trip to visit in-laws

* Siskiyou County, CA on a beautiful weekend

* the kid's enthusiasm for learning how things work 

* Tolly's Restaurant in Oakland, OR

* the opportunity to hear my students thoughtfully reflect upon the second presidential debate

* possibilities

* fun lunch with a friend

* a new sweater

* Twix (Has anyone seen the peanut butter kind lately?  Do they still make those?  That would make me REALLY thankful!)

* rain + sun
