* Eleanor's enduring enjoyment of her look-alike doll

* making it safely through Saturday's afternoon deluge (we were driving across the metro area at the time)

* squirrels

* coffee with a friend

* action steps

* momentary bursts of insight

* "Home Fires" on TV

* hymns

* modern appliances

* the enormous fuzzy cat I saw running after (or from?) something on the way home from school drop-off this morning... (s)he looked like a stuffed animal come alive!
