thankful thursday

I had a quite busy end to last week, with a Synod Candidacy Committee meeting followed by a board of directors meeting for Lutheran Community Services Northwest.  Great experiences; much to absorb.  Coming back down to "regular" life in this in-between phase of existence is always a bit of a bummer.  However -- this week I am thankful for:

* my beautiful girl and her cool new glasses
* safe travel
* the hummingbird(s) regularly visiting the blooming rosemary bush in the backyard
* our community
* positive voices
* bread
* opportunities to advocate for others
* a cat who's decided he's a lap cat on chilly evenings
* autumn leaves
