thankful thursday

This week I'm thankful for:

* 33 years
* a wonderful family and friends
* getting to talk about the 1950s in class on Wednesday... nothing beats sharing the story of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Minonson, who spent their 14-day honeymoon in a bomb shelter in 1959... :-)
* birds scoping out the birdhouse on the fence near my window (hope somebody moves in!)
* cake
* functional Internet (and a husband who is scary but effective in requesting immediate repair service)
* long walks, wet runs (and hot showers)
* inspiration
