thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* decent ratings (?)
* a Timbers win on Saturday!
* a wonderful sister who will play Barbies with the kid (and watch Lawrence Welk, and then put up with the kid's rendition of "Calcutta" on the flutophone...)
* new opportunities
* blooming lilac bushes
* a morning run that involved saying hi to a cow and passing within 8 feet of two deer
* sprouting seeds
* my brilliant daughter and the school that provides her with such important support
* small-town moments
