nature

Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote in 1850 that

"Who trusted God was love indeed
And love Creation's final law
Tho' Nature, red in tooth and claw
With ravine, shriek'd against his creed"

Perhaps he had human nature in mind. The natural world can be a brutal place -- but just as often, it sings the majesty of creation.  And when that happens?

Even the trees cannot keep from hugging each other in joy!

Hee hee.
