This week I am thankful for:

* 13 years of marriage
* the kid's sudden enthusiasm for "Garfield"
* a mostly written class syllabus
* rain
* sunflowers
* tomatoes
* five more sleeps until school starts again!
* cats
* the beautiful sunrise I enjoyed on my walk yesterday morning
