thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* the fact that the kid finally lost a tooth which has been sticking out at an exceedingly odd angle for weeks now!
* the cute and amusing sight of several beet-red small children when I came in to pick up the aforementioned kid from her first after-school Zumba class the other day
* supportive people
* rain
* fun pottery-painting with friends
* buds on the tree and shrubs outside my window
* opportunities to teach
* bird song
