thanks of the day -- and a quick prayer request

This morning, I'm thankful for time spent yesterday evening at women's group conversing with great women in my friend Kristin's warm, cozy house.

Tomorrow morning we have to take the kid in for an upper endoscopy... she's been having trouble with her tummy. I suspect it is lactose intolerance, but the doctor wants to verify and/or rule out other possibilities. I'm less than thrilled about having to have her sedated for the procedure. A quick prayer would be welcome!
