thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* the Oregon Coast

* scenic drives

* air conditioning

* cherry tomatoes

* peaches

* The Sound of Music

* the motivational capacity of ear buds and an iPod running cuff

* the song off an old cassette tape with which my sister and I used to endlessly (unintentionally) torment our parents, with its reminder that "You gotta eat an elephant... one bite at a time, ohhh, yeahhhh..." (think about it long enough and it's really rather profound)
