thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* mountains (this one is Mt. Hood, with Mt. Adams off to the left... we could also see Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens)
* hikes up smaller mountains to enjoy great views of bigger ones
* time spent with my husband
* 12 years of marriage
* the kid's impeccable behavior as my "teaching assistant"/sidekick this week when I've started school and she hasn't
* two exciting (I hope) classes filled with engaged students
* encouragement
* good homemade burgers
