on break

I've been trying to be far more regular about my blogging on this site, aiming for at least 3 posts a week.  It has been a useful journey (and I hope an okay one on your end).  Thus, I figured I'd provide warning that I'm taking a break over the weekend of the Fourth.  I'll be back next week!  Meanwhile, happy Fourth of July from everyone here at our house, including our newest "friend":
