thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* the kid's enjoyment of science camp this week... when I picked her up yesterday she proudly showed me the collection of 13 snails she had gathered out of the parks and rec office pond and then proceeded to nonchalantly pick them up, one by one, to put them back in the water
* good weather
* taco salad
* impending Big Trips! :-D
* good talks with the husband
* good friends
* a beautiful blossom on the miniature sunflower the kid grew from a seed
