thankful thursday

This week I am thankful for:

* a good 10K in Sandy
* fun -- and a win! --  at the Portland Thorns women's soccer match
* getting to see Christine Sinclair and Alex Morgan score goals
* my beautiful ballerina
* rain to help the garden grow
* new plants in the front yard
* the black-capped chickadees who have taken up residence in our bird house
* LOTS of squirrels in the backyard
* the parking strip full of beautiful roses I pass on the way to pick kiddo up from school
* being done with the various commitments of dance recital week
